Course overview

Diabetes during pregnancy is a common complication of pregnancy that is an increasing health concern. Women with diabetes who become pregnant and women who develop diabetes during pregnancy are considered to have high-risk pregnancies and are categorized as the following types: gestational diabetes (GD); diabetes mellitus, type 1 (DM1); and diabetes mellitus, type 2 (DM2).
