Clinical supervision is a method by which guided reflection and feedback are used to improve clinical practice and promote high quality nursing care. Group clinical supervision involves bringing together nurses who work in the same unit or clinical area. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of group clinical supervision in psychiatric nursing, including information on the purpose of clinical supervision, characteristics of group clinical supervision, and the impact of group clinical supervision in psychiatric nursing.
