Course overview

Verification of FT placement is the process of confirming that the proximal end of an FT is positioned as originally intended when it was inserted. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of procedures used in the clinical setting to verify FT placement, and to aid in the prevention of complications in patients with FTs. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
