Course overview
Isolation precautions are infection control strategies used to reduce transmission of infectious agents. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of isolation precautions for patients with MRSA, including the type of isolation precautions required, PPE required, and why isolation precautions are important for patients with MRSA. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
