Accurate calculation of the correct dose and flow rate for administration of intravenous (I.V.) medications and fluids is essential to optimal patient management and to prevention of I.V. administration errors. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of how to calculate intravenous infusion doses and flow rates for accurate delivery of I.V. therapy.
