This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of promoting job-reentry by nurses, including reasons commonly cited by RNs for having left the nursing work force, factors commonly cited by inactive RNs that would motivate them to or prevent them from returning to the nursing work force, and the importance of a nursing refresher course. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
