Course overview
Long-term chemotherapy effects in children are generally described as side effects of chemotherapy that occur 5 or more years after a cancer diagnosis. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of the process for teaching parents about long-term effects of chemotherapy administered during childhood, and to aid in caring for children during or after chemotherapy administration. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
