Course overview
The use of appropriate teaching methods involves presenting individualized information for patient/family education by an individual or group presentation using visual and other strategies. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of determining appropriate patient teaching methods, including information on various teaching methods and creating an appropriate teaching plan to aid in caring for the patient requiring patient education. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
