Course overview

The interview is an important step in the employee recruitment and hiring process. A peer interview is an interview conducted by a person who will be working with the prospective employee if he or she is hired for the position. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of peer interviews and the recruitment of healthcare personnel, including advantages of peer interviewing, qualifications for staff serving as peer interviewers, and the nurse manager¿s role in the peer interview process. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
