RECRUITMENT OF HEALTHCARE PERSONNEL: MEN IN NURSING

Course overview

The proportion of men in nursing has more than tripled since 1970 as efforts have increased to recruit men to the nursing profession. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of recruiting men in nursing, including recruitment information specific to men, areas of nursing men are most interested in working in, a comparison of statistics regarding male and female nurses, and to aid in the recruitment of men into nursing. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
