VINBLASTINE (VLB)

Course overview

VinBLAStine (VLB) is U.S. FDA-approved to treat Hodgkin disease (stage III/IV), chemotherapy-resistant choriocarcinoma, and Letterer-Siwe disease (Langerhans cell histiocytosis, histiocytosis X) in adults and children and breast cancer unresponsive to endocrine surgery and hormonal therapy, Kaposi sarcoma, lymphocytic lymphoma, advanced mycosis fungoides, histiocytic non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and advanced germ cell testicular carcinoma in adults. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of vinBLAStine. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
