Course overview
Removal of a foreign body from the eye consists of removing any object that is superficially adherent to the surface of the eye (conjunctiva, cornea) or that is penetrating the eye globe. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of Foreign Body Removal: Eye. Including clinical presentation, how the procedure is performed, how to assist with the procedure, and outcome data along with treatment goals for the healthcare provider to aid in caring for the patient with this diagnosis. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
