Course overview

This course covers care planning, assessing the abdominal quadrants, acute abdomen, gastrointestinal bleeding, abdominal trauma, penetrating trauma, blunt trauma, trouble indicators and what they suggest, diagnostic testing, plus much more! Course objectives include: * List a region of the abdomen and identify its underlying organ(s) and/or structure(s). * Provide two potentially life-threatening GI emergencies. * Identify three auscultatory clues to the nature of abdominal trauma.
