Course overview

Basic conditions of the skin, both normal and abnormal, are essential for any technician to be familiar with. This presentation will cover common skin conditions such as rashes, moles, precancerous lesions, and skin cancers, as well as a few less common conditions and lesions. The technician should be able to visually recognize significant conditions, should understand some of the basic concepts and treatments of the condition/lesion, and understand how to address these conditions/lesions with the client before recommending hair removal.
