Course overview
Fatigue differs from general drowsiness, which is defined as lack of energy and motivation. Fatigue is a common adverse effect of numerous disorders, including rheumatic and neurologic conditions, and several complications (e.g., depression, social isolation) are associated with fatigue. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of the use of the FSS to measure a patient¿s severity of fatigue. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
