Course overview
Apheresis is a general term describing multiple different procedures in which blood is removed from the body, separated into various components and manipulated in some way, and then returned to the patient. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of assisting with apheresis in children. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
