Course overview

Gravity exists. Falls occur. Unfortunately, there is little we can do to change Newton's Law of Gravity. There is, however, a great deal that we can do to reduce the chance that an at risk resident will fall, and even more that we can do to reduce fall related injuries. This webinar will provide participants with the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to: Identify intrinsic, extrinsic and delivery of care factors which may contribute to resident falls. Identify behavioral interventions for safeguarding residents at risk for falls Identify strategies and products/resources for reducing fall related injuries.
