The survey process is often intimidating and full of stress. A solid understanding of survey terminology and the survey process, however, will greatly enhance your ability to prepare for the survey, and will go a long way to reducing stress and anxiety. During this presentation, participants will: Become familiar with abbreviations and terms related to the survey process. Become familiar with the types of federal and state surveys. Identify Federal Tags in which Social Services and Activities have the greatest ability to impact to avoid related deficiencies (i.e. Quality of Life, Quality of Care, Resident Rights, Admission, Transfer and Discharge Planning, Care Planning, Abuse, Assessment, etc.). Understand the Survey Deficiency Grid. Understand Psychosocial Severity Outcomes
