CYTARABINE

Course overview

Cytarabine is approved by the FDA in the United States to treat acute lymphoid leukemia (ALL), acute myeloid leukemia (AML; in combination with other antineoplastics), and chronic myeloid leukemia (CML; blast phase) and to treat and prevent meningeal leukemia. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of cytarabine. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
