When caring for the person in an Assisted-Living or in a Nursing Home or similar facility; it is important to develop a plan of care to make sure the patient's physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs are being met. The behavioral needs of people in these facilities change constantly as disease and symptoms progress. Plans for their care must be reviewed and updated on a regular basis.
