Course overview

This 10.5 CE online program is intended for a wide audience of health care providers involved in advanced wound care management, including the registered nurse, nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, physical therapist, physician, physician's assistant, and others. This Comprehensive self-study course is based on managing wounds for patients with diabetes and other comorbid conditions; reviewing the classification systems used in describing the diabetic foot wound. The goal of the program is to increase knowledge of and improve skills for managing wounds for patients with diabetes using wound care modalities and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
