GOAL ATTAINMENT

Course overview

King¿s theory of goal attainment states that nursing interactions lead to activities that result in goal attainment. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of goal attainment, including information on the three systems that the conceptual framework of goal attainment is based on, potential uses for GAS, and various frameworks or strategies that can promote goal attainment. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
