Course overview

Women can experience intense pain during labor and delivery. Pain assessment is an important component of patient care during labor and delivery. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of pain assessment in labor and delivery, including information on the use of standardized, facility-approved pain assessment tools. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
