Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a person-centered, goal-oriented method of communication for eliciting and strengthening intrinsic motivation for positive change. In this brief workshop, we will explore how MI can help us to be more effective in our work. Using the underlying style embodying collaboration, evocation and autonomy support, we will practice skills for guiding change-focused client conversations.
