Course overview

provide and document evidence-based standards of health care and health outcomes for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This course will provide a guide for registered nurses to use for the assessment, planning, delivery, and documentation of essential health supports. Nurses will gain knowledge and understanding of the Health and Wellness Standards set forth by the DC Developmental Disabilities Administration, including the importance of the Health Passport and guidelines to creating and maintaining a Health Care Management Plan.
