Elder abuse is an intentional or negligent act that causes harm or increases risk of harm to an older adult (most commonly defined as an adult over age 65). This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of the prevention of elder abuse. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
