Course overview
Shift work disorder is a circadian rhythm sleep disorder (CRSD) caused by the interference of work with the timing and duration of an individual¿s normal sleep period. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of teaching the patient with shift work disorder, including signs and symptoms, clinical presentation, and outcome data, and to aid in caring for the patient with this diagnosis. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
