Course overview
Culturally competent (CC) care of Black women with breast cancer (BC) is holistic and incorporates cultural beliefs, attitudes, and traditions when planning and providing care. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of providing CC care to Black women with BC, including why this is important and how to provide this care. This lesson also provides outcome data and information to aid in caring for Black women with this diagnosis. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
