SUICIDE RISK ASSESSMENT: THE SUICIDE INTENT SCALE (SIS)

Course overview

Suicide is an important public health concern in the United States. Suicidal intent refers to the intensity of desire the person has to end his or her own life. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of the SIS, including information on factors predictive of suicide, topics covered in the SIS, and scoring of the SIS. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
