Course overview

Ambulance transportation is used for urgent field evacuation of patients who are ill or have experienced trauma, or for interfacility transfer of critically ill or injured patients to specialty care centers. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of maintaining patient safety during ambulance transportation. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
