NAVIGATING CANCER SURVIVORSHIP

Course overview

Today, more than 14 million Americans are alive with a history of cancer; all grappling with a complicated mix of post-treatment issues. In 2006, the Institute of Medicine recommended that every cancer patient receive an individualized survivorship care plan to help improve the quality of care survivors receive as they live with, through and beyond cancer. In this course participants will learn how to access, create and benefit from a cancer survivorship care plan.
