Course overview
Guillain-Barr¿ Syndrome (GBS) is an acute neuropathy involving symmetrical muscular weakness or tingling sensations that begins in the feet and migrates toward the trunk (i.e., ascending paralysis), potentially resulting in neuromuscular respiratory failure. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of caring for the child with GBS. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
