Course overview

After completing this inservice, your nurse aides will be able to: Recognize and empathize with the most common barriers to bathing. Explain the importance of using a client-centered approach to bathing. Describe at least 6 alternative bathing methods that can be used to overcome common barriers to bathing. Create a list of useful supplies to have on hand prior to bathing clients with common barriers to bathing. Demonstrate client-centered care when bathing clients in your daily work.
