Participants will consider health care perceptions common among older people. Next, Participants will learn how to respectfully and effectively communicate with older people. Additionally, Participants will explore different interviewing techniques helpful with various needs of older patients. Also, Participants will identify the benefits of regular exercise and good nutrition for older patients. Next, Participants will learn techniques for approaching sensitive subjects with older patients and will be provided with resources for more information and support. Additionally, Participants will explore ways to educate patients and families and connect them with community resources and services. Also, Patients will become familiar with strategies for delivering bad news to older patients. Next, Participants will understand how to tailor questions and treatment plans to meet diverse patients¿ needs. Additionally, Participants will consider how to communicate effectively with families and caregivers. Finally, Participants will learn how to talk with patients and caregivers about a diagnosis.
