Course overview
It is not only the final event of death the nurse must learn to deal with, it is the entire process and the complex experiences that dying individuals, their families, friends and all others involved must go through. It is far from easy and requires a fine blend of sensitivity, insight and knowledge. This course will enhance nurses in every area of expertise. Course objectives include: * Define and characterize end-of-life care. * Explain the role of bereavement services in end-of-life care.
