Course overview

Abortion Aftermath is a unique collection of stress and grief-related symptoms stemming from deep and complicated conflicts set in motion by an abortion. This course for health professionals is about helping and healing for those women who are suffering from the aftermath of abortion. It does not deal with the "righteousness" or "wrongness" of abortion itself, rather, it recognizes the effects and provides strategies and interventions to assist women ... beyond the grief. Course objectives include: * List possible effects an abortion has on a woman. * Identify one's own bias that may affect therapy. * Summarize appropriate treatment modalities for post abortion women.
