Course overview

Physical and Occupational Therapists in the outpatient setting in 2013 will need increased understanding of Functional Status (outcome) measures to qualify for incentive bonuses from Federal Quality Reporting programs such as Physicians¿ Quality Reporting System (PQRS) or Claims-based Reporting of Functional Limitations. Forward-looking initiatives such as Medicare Accountable Care Organizations (ACO) also have functional status quality reporting mandates that will require therapists to collect this data. This course arms the clinician with a better understanding of Functional Status measures, PQRS, and Medicare ACO in order to maximize productivity and outcomes.
