Course overview
This seminar was designed collaboratively to provide therapists and healthcare professionals with an increased understanding of ethics across the disciplines and the relevance ethics play in everyday intervention. Focus will also be the role of the business aspects of ethics especially with the changing view of healthcare due to the rise of Accountable Care Organizations and the Affordable Care Act and specialized areas involving the end of life and informed consent. Reference to the Code of Ethics across all rehabilitation disciplines will be made in addition to case examples across treatment populations and continuum.
