Course overview

Caring for an elderly relative, friend or significant other can be both rewarding and demanding. Some of us are caregivers for family members while others choose to work as a caregiver. This class will explore the challenges that many if not all caregivers deal with on a day to day basis. Participants will gain knowledge into the critical skills needed in order to be a caregiver. We will also look at the role of self care in preventing burnout in caregivers.
