Course overview
This course takes the healthcare professional through the practical application of evidence based medicine as it relates to manual therapy of the upper and lower extremity. This course aims to equip the clinician with skills to efficiently offer their patients a therapy session that combines functional manual therapy techniques and corrective exercise strategies. This multimodal approach covers common orthopedic conditions of the upper extremity such as rotator cuff syndrome/repair, adhesive capsulitis, shoulder arthroplasty, and elbow disorders. It also covers common orthopedic conditions of the lower extremity such as osteoarthritis of the hip, knee and ankle, hip disorders, and hip and knee arthroplasty.
