Course overview

Tendon injury management is a challenging treatment area, even for the experienced hand therapist. There are many published treatment protocols from which to choose. There are numerous clinical decisions to be made by the treating therapist while carrying out the treatment protocol. This course prepares the treating therapist for these decisions by imparting a solid working knowledge of extensor system anatomy and kinesiology, tendon healing theory, relevant aspects of surgical procedures, and evidence in support of the use of various protocols.
