Course overview
The purpose of these 14 continuing educational pharmacology course is to educate the participants to understand their role when providing care to a patient with cardiac disease, and to fulfill the needs of these patients in states with stringent regulations limiting prescription rights. Moreover understand that all health care should build on the competence of a skill set (cardiology) to demonstrate a greater depth and breadth of knowledge, a greater synthesis of data, increased complexity of skills and interventions when caring for patients with a cardiac condition (O'Grady, 2008).
