Course overview

This course is about children who look the same as other children, but who have difficulty mastering school and home tasks and interacting with others due to learning or cognitive disabilities. Although visual or motor deficits are often easily recognizable, learning disabilities may be less obvious. This course discusses the impact of learning and cognitive disabilities on everyday performance at home and at school, and provides intervention strategies to help children reach their functional ability.
