Tracking # 20-490721
Course overview
According to Gately & Borcherding, "As the profession continues the move toward evidence-based practice, well-documented occupational therapy services are more likely to be recognized and reimbursed as a cost-effective treatment in improving health and quality of life" (cited in Clark & Bloom, 2006). This course provides formulas and guidelines for writing effective SOAP notes that demonstrate the most effective content, attention to detail, emphasis on the need for "skilled" occupational therapy, and organization of the note that will provide a better blueprint for treatment as well as increase the likelihood that the therapy will be reimbursed. Course provides multiple opportunities to practice writing notes according to the suggested forumulas.
