COMPLEX REGIONAL PAIN SYNDROME, TYPE 1 (CRPS 1): MEDICAL TREATMENT

Course overview

CRPS 1 is a neuropathic pain syndrome (i.e., peripheral nerve pain) that results from injury, surgery, or other trauma but is disproportionately severe given the event that led to the onset. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of medical treatment of CRPS 1 including its clinical presentation, symptoms, and treatment, and to aid in caring for the patient with this diagnosis. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
