INFANT GROWTH: ASSESSING

Course overview

Assessment of an infant?s growth involves charting changes in anthropometric measurements for comparison with those typical for babies of the same age and gender. The infant?s length, weight, and head circumference are measured periodically over time and charted on standardized growth curves. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of infant growth assessment. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
