ASSISTANCE WITH SELF-ADMINISTRATION OF MEDICATION 2 HOURS

Course overview

This two hour program will review the policies and procedures for Assistance with Self-Administration of medication. Review the medication observation record. Discuss what medication the CNA can and cannot assist with. The participant will demonstrate the assistance with self-administration of oral medication, topical medication, transdermal patch, nasal medications, ear medications, eye medication and eye ointment medication.
