FENTANYL PARENTERAL (SUBLIMAZE)

Course overview

FentaNYL parenteral is U.S. FDA-approved to treat short-term acute pain (e.g., postoperative, intermittent), as preoperative premedication, and as an analgesic adjunct to regional anesthesia in patients ≥ 12 years; as a general anesthetic in selected high-risk surgical patients, and for induction and maintenance of anesthesia in patients ≥ 2 years. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of fentanyl parenteral. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
