Learner Objectives: As a result of having attended the meeting, the participants should have had the opportunity to: ¿ The Best Practices in Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care Course will focus on best practices and insight from experts in the field of Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care. The goal is to enhance the knowledge of individuals who practice clinical hyperbaric medicine and wound care on the application of specific indications that bridge both fields. Advanced presentations on four key hyperbaric indications will be followed by expert panel discussions which include complex cases. The panel will consist of a group of experts from a variety of medical specialties to give a broad range of viewpoints. The selected cases will focus on more advanced practical questions and problems that we all face in our day‐to‐day practices. Included throughout the lecture series and panel discussions, will be topics addressing coding, billing and documentation challenges. Subject Matter: ¿ Clinical Practice Guidelines: CPG for the DFU ¿ GRADE, What is it? ¿ Quality Measures and their Implications on patient care and reimbursement ¿ GRADE, CPGs and Future Directions in Research Teaching Methods: ¿ Online video of speakers lecture with PPT slides embedded. ¿ Exam questions for each lecture Evaluation Methods: Evaluation is offered online after completion of the activity, which evaluates the effectiveness of the meeting, that no bias was presented and overall objectives were met.
