Course overview

Upon completion for this program the learner will be able to Define Medical Documentation. Knowledge of the accepted rules for Medical Documentation. Discuss standards for properly correcting medical errors. Knowledge of verbal communication and the use of speech or the written word. Be able to define and identify medical terms. Knowledge of the Board of Nursing and discuss in-service education requirements needed to maintain licensure during each calendar year. Discuss and describe the legal aspects and the laws and rules that govern the particular practice of the certified nursing assistant. Discuss when a CNAs certification/license may be revoked, denied, suspended by the Florida Board of Nursing.
